SAHARA KASTURI HANDICRAFTS: Endeavors to provide sustainable employment to the artisans of the Handicraft Sector. The handicraft enterprise of Sahara India Pariwar is successfully marketing its products in the Domestic and European markets where established brands are already selling its dexterously manufactured high quality products. Firm plans are afoot to make an entry in the Middle East & in the leading retail chains of Indian market. The aforesaid are effectively realizing the objective of Sahara Kasturi Handicrafts by providing regular work to the beneficiary artisans in an ever increasing number.

Over the centuries, India has been regarded as a hub of rich culture, vibrant traditions and knowledge. Many dimensions of this rich cultural and traditional heritage can be seen in the various Indian handicraft art forms.

Due to the lack of proper marketing and other commercial assistance, the Indian craft has not received the global forum it deserves. Sahara India Pariwar with 27 years of presence in India especially in the rural areas has taken up the mammoth task of bringing the best artisans to present to the world the wonders of Indian handicrafts and the excellent craftsmanship.

Each of our products carries the essence of India – mystic, incredible and pleasing qualities. We offer myriad products from different categories: Chikan Kari, Metal, Glass, Stone, Wood, Ceramics, Zari & Zardozi, Appliqué, Leather and Bone & Horn to mention a few.

With the view to expanding the market and showcasing the range of Indian Handicraft items, an International Trade Centre is being created under the initiative of Sahara India Pariwar. The centre will have among other things exhibition halls, designing centres, packaging centres, training centres, showrooms and cultural activity centres.

A market place, UP Haat, solely dedicated to the artisans to showcase their products and craftsmanship is also being developed. This is an initiative to provide the artisans a common platform and expand the domestic handicraft market. The Haat will have many facilities including a mini amphitheater, stalls, food court and amusement zones for children.
